Debuted at the Genoa Boat Show in 2005, the Azimut 85 created much of a stir due to her classic, timeless design and solid platform. Created by the Italian yard, Azimut Yachts, she is the ideal yacht for both experienced and new yacht owners looking to explore the Mediterranean or Caribbean in the utmost luxury and tranquility.
She has a GRP hull and superstructure, measuring 26.8 meters in length with a 1.95-meter draft and 6.10-meter beam. Featuring a sleek exterior design by Stefano Righini and a modern, light interior design by Carlo Galeazzi, she offers future owners the perfect balance of style, comfort, and luxury in one. A semi-custom model from Azimut, the galley is one of the central focal points on the main deck. With sliding doors leading both to the main saloon and side deck, it is an exceptionally functional space for the crew without taking away space from the rest of the main deck. The large saloon and dining area feature big windows surrounding the living space flooding the area with light and providing stunning views. Sliding doors led to the main deck aft, with a table for al-fresco dining and steps to her beach club. The bow houses comfortable built-in sunpads perfect for sunbathing.
But it is her flybridge that makes it evident that she was designed for outdoor living. Complete with a hardtop retractable sunroof, this versatile area has space for a Jacuzzi, barbeque area, and comfortable sofas and dining table, making it the hub for entertaining, socializing, and relaxing.
Able to accommodate eight guests in four well-appointed cabins, this includes the master suite located amidships with a large walk-in wardrobe, ensuite with rain shower and bathtub, and beautifully selected furniture. The VIP stateroom is located at the forward of the motor yacht and offers a spacious setting with a double bed and similar neutral furniture to the master suite. The two twin staterooms are located between the master and VIP suite and feature two single beds.
The Azimut 85 is fitted with twin V12 1800HP MTU engines with a top speed of 26 knots and a cruising speed of 23 knots, providing this superyacht with a feeling of speed while still maintaining calm cruising conditions for her future owners.
